Afternoon,

Another very volatility day on the fishing pond today. The TF (Russell 2000 e-mini’s) opened flat and gyrated around for the first hour or so before setting up a trader’s trick set-upafter a trend line break below the 56 EMA. The time was 10:00 am CST with a short entry of 717.50. The trade was 1 ticked into the trade and then rallied 2.10 points stopping the trade out for a 2 point loss. Notice how big the bars preceding the entry bar. That is usually an indication of how much risk the trade will have. Here is the chart for trade 1.

The final trade was a text book trader’s trick set-up. Take a picture of this set-up. It does not get any better than this set-up. There was a trend line break followed by price trading above the 56 EMA. The price pulled back to the 56.  The time was 13:42 pm CST with a long entry of 714.70. Here is the chart for the last trade.

The market continues to give us nice set-ups.The volatility will give us fake outs as in the second set-up but that is the way trading goes.

 Have a great evening.

Best regards,

Ron
