Afternoon,

A quick look at the first chart shows you how difficult the trading day was….sideways is not trending and trending is always a better market to make money in. Therefore today was not a great day to make money. Here is the chart for the day.

The first trade of the day was a trend line break below the 56 EMA followed by a trader’s trick set-up. The time of the trade was 10:33 am CST with a short entry of 732.20. The trade was up 1.40 points and the trade broke even. Here is the chart for trade 1.

The market, as stated above, was in a sideways base so the next trade happened at 13:39 pm CST. There was a trend line break followed by a trader’s trick set-up. Short entry was 728.90. The trade was up 1.10 points before stopping out for a 2 point loss. Here is the chart for trade 2.

This type of trading causes a trader to become frustrated. This is when it is most important to have a trade plan and money management rules to help keep them from making up trades.

Looking forward to better fishing in the future.

Best regards,

Ron
